Reservations

  1. For more information regarding the availability of the apartment that will be perfect for you and your family, please call us at 1 800 271 1110 (toll-free if calling from Canada or USA) or at +1 514 281-1111 or by email.
  2. We will be pleased to confirm the availability of the property and inform you of the rental conditions (rental fee, booking deposit and warranty deposit).
  3. Your booking will be secured once we’ve received your booking deposit. The following modes of payment are accepted:
    • Credit card. Accepted cards are: Visa, MasterCard and American Express (an extra 4% charge will be incurred). Your booking will be secured immediately upon payment.
    • Bank wire transfer. Upon request we’ll send you the necessary banking instructions. Banks collect payment for this service from both the sender as well as from the recipient* so would you please ensure both fees are pre-paid otherwise you will be charged for the recipient fee upon check-in. If you fax us the receipt of your wire transfer at + 1 514 843-3223 or email it to us at info@ragq.com, your booking will be secured upon receipt.
    • Postal order in Canadian dollars. Your booking will be secured when we receive the order (which may take several days, depending on the country of origin). Do let us know if you choose this form of payment.
    • Bank order in Canadian dollars. Your booking will be secured once we have received the order (which may take several days, depending on the country of origin). Do let us know if you choose this form of payment.
  4. Upon receipt of your booking deposit, we will confirm your booking as well as the address and phone number of the Furnished Apartment by e-mail.
  5. *The sending bank typically collects a fee separate from the funds being transferred, while the receiving bank and intermediate banks through which the transfer travels deduct fees from the money being transferred so that the recipient receives less than what was intended. Fees may vary from bank to bank

Cancellation Policy

  1. The booking deposit is not refundable. We strongly recommend you take travel insurance.

Upon arrival

  1. Upon your arrival at our offices in Montreal :

    • You will be asked to sign the seasonal rental lease;
    • You will be required to pay the balance of the rental fee as well as the warranty deposit. This can be done either in cash in Canadian dollars, or in Travelers Cheques, in Canadian dollars, or by credit card: Visa, MasterCard or American Express (an extra 4% charge will be incurred). As for the warranty deposit, you may pay cash or by credit card i.e., Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
    • Note that an official proof of ID is mandatory in order to book the rental.
    • You will then be given the key to your Furnished Apartment.
  1. You will find the apartment inventory card with the service guide. This card identifies the condition of the premises and all inventories at the time that you take possession of the premises. As the lease holder, you will have to verify both inventory card and premises and notify the landlord and the renter of any discrepancy within 24 hours after you take possession. After the 24 hrs, you (lease holder) will be considered to have accepted the apartment inventory card.
  1. For all apartments the check in time is 4:00 PM (16:00) on day of arrival and check-out time is 10:00 AM on day of departure, unless you have made other arrangements with the renter.

Insurance

  1. Both The Apartment Network in Quebec (Réseau Appartements et Gîtes au Québec) and the landlord of the dwelling you will be renting have taken an insurance policy for this apartment, however, none of your personal belongings or your personal liability is covered by these insurance policies. We therefore recommend you and your travelling companions purchase or personal insurance covering your liability as well as your personal goods and belongings against loss or theft.

Departure from the Furnished Apartment

  1. The apartment will be clean when you check-in. You should ensure it is clean when you depart. You will be charged for extra cleaning expenses at the hourly rate of $25, if you don’t leave the apartment in its initial state. By this we mean that:
  2. The apartment must be clean (no dust, clean floors);
  3. All furniture must stand in its original place;
  4. Dishes must be cleaned and appropriately stored;
  5. The kitchen (oven, fridge, microwave) and bathroom must be clean;
  6. Sheets and pillowcases must be removed from the beds;
  7. You must dispose of leftovers and any open food containers appropriately;
  8. The garbage must be disposed of using the appropriate facilities in the building.
